What is DailyStory?

DailyStory® equips your team with a single, turn-key, marketing automation platform that provides the services, tools, and expertise you need to build, nurture, and grow your customer relationships. There are no tedious or complex technologies to integrate together – we take care of all of that for you – enabling you to stay focused on your business and your customers.

What are DailyStory’s product features?

The easiest way to learn about DailyStory’s features is to take our Product Tour. Broadly speaking, our product capabilities include email marketing, customer acquisition, pay-per-click campaign management, lead conversion campaigns, email conversion campaigns, workflow, automation, and analytics.

Why should I choose DailyStory over the competition?

You should choose DailyStory over the competition because DailyStory is the simplest to use, most powerful, and customer-focused marketing automation platform for businesses that want to convert visitors to customers. We provide a single turn-key solution that typically would require multiple technologies and development team to integrate.

Is a Credit Card required to start a trial?

No. A credit card is not required to start a free 21-day trial. If you start a trial and decide you want to keep using DailyStory just provide us with a valid credit card and we’ll transfer all of your data.

Do you charge per user?

No. We did experiment with per-user pricing during our public beta. However, our customer’s told us that a licensing model based on consumption would be simpler to understand and budget for. Now, all plans include unlimited users.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer a discount to not-for-profits. Please contact us and we would be happy to discuss with you.

How am I billed for the service?

For month-to-month billing, we require a valid credit card. For annual billing, you can make a single payment via credit card or pay by invoice. Credit cards will be billed on the day of the month that your service started, e.g. if you sign up on April 2nd you will be billed again May 2nd.

What are your support hours?

Our customer support team is available Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM PST.

How is DailyStory licensed?

DailyStory is a service, as outlined in our Terms of Service, that is provided to our customers. The service is primarily licensed by consumption measured by the number of unique visitors per month. See the pricing page for more details.

Is there a free version of DailyStory?

No, there is not a free version. But, you an try DailyStory free for 21 days.

How often is the DailyStory platform updated?

We’re currently on a two-week release cycle with new releases going into customer preview for 2-weeks prior to going live. The update cycle occurs on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month between 10P EST. There is typically no downtime or impact to our customers. The customer preview enables previewing the latest release prior to it going live in production.

Do you support languages other than English?

Currently no. While the software fully supports content in any language, the DailyStory customer experience is currently only available in English. We do have plans to add support for languages other than English, but this will primarily be driven by our customers.

What if I want to cancel my account?

We would hate to see you leave, but if you need to cancel simply notify us that you are canceling your account. We’ll cancel either immediately or when you ask us to. If you need help getting your contacts or other data out of our system, we’d be happy to help too.

I’m not technical, can I still use DailyStory?

We’ve made DailyStory as approachable as possible. But, if you need some help, we’d be happy to help you set up the service or configure it.

Can you do everything for me?

Yes, many of our customers hire us in a “turn-key” role. We help design, plan, and execute the customer engagement strategy for your business and operate the day-to-day activities.

I see that DailyStory provides analytics, do I still need web analytics?

Short-answer, yes. DailyStory provides analytics for engaged customers. Web analytics platforms – such as Google Analytics – provides a much broader picture of what all visitors to your web and mobile experience are doing. DailyStory cares exclusively about what visitors that convert into contacts do within your web and mobile experiences.

Is there any software to setup?

No, DailyStory is a multitenant software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. There is no software to set up or install. We do enable deeper integration through our API and offer plugins for popular platforms like WordPress.

Do you have an API?

Yes, DailyStory has a REST API and webhooks to publish events that you can subscribe to. We also maintain a public GitHub repository with source code to some of our projects. You may also want to review our API Use Policy.

Do you offer a mobile experience?

Yes, the DailyStory application was built from the ground-up to be a mobile-friendly application. We do not currently offer native iPhone or Android apps but may do so in the future.

Where does DailyStory store customer data?

DailyStory runs exclusively in the Microsoft Azure cloud. We currently offer regionally distributed data centers in North America and Europe. Microsoft Azure provides us a way to easily expand regional data centers as our customer base grows.

Can I integrate DailyStory with my website or application?

Yes, integration can be as simple as adding a few lines of JavaScript (our web pixel), a WordPress plugin, or as complex as building integration through our REST APIs. We provide sample code for how to integrate with various technologies.

Do you integrate with Salesforce?

Yes, we offer integration with Salesforce. This requires access to the APIs for your Salesforce instance (as well as an appropriate number of API calls available). On average, DailyStory communicates with Salesforce once every 20 minutes to perform synchronization. Depending on the results from the synchronization, or if there is new data to publish to Salesforce, additional Salesforce API calls may be required.
