What is a contact?
DailyStory licensing is determined by how many customers you communicate with. A contact in DailyStory is uniquely identifiable person either by email or mobile phone. If you aren’t sure how many contacts you’ll need, pick the plan you think is right and we’ll help you sort it out.
How are SMS / MMS credits calculated?
If your account comes with text message credits these credits allow you to send SMS or MMS message without additional cost. Please see Understanding Text Messaging Costs
for more information.
How much does it cost to send an SMS message?
Pricing for SMS messaging varies by your license and where your messages are sent. Additionally, your message cost depends upon your license level. Our pricing includes U.S. carrier fees. However, other country’s carrier fees are charged separately. Please see Understanding Text Messaging Costs

How is DailyStory licensed?
DailyStory is licensed, primarily, based on the number of active contacts you have.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer a discount to not-for-profits. Please contact us
and we would be happy to discuss with you.
How am I billed for the service?
For month-to-month billing, we require a valid credit card. For annual billing, you can make a single payment via credit card or pay by invoice. Credit cards will be billed on the day of the month that your service started, e.g. if you sign up on April 2nd you will be billed again May 2nd.
Is the service month-to-month?
Yes, unless you request an annual contract the DailyStory service is a month-to-month service.
Is a credit card required to start a trial?
No. A credit card is not required to start a trial. If you start a trial and decide you want to keep using DailyStory just provide us with a valid credit card and we’ll transfer all of your data.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes, there is a one-time setup fee when creating a new account. This fee is typically 1x your monthly subscription cost.
Any other fees?
Yes, if we are unable to process your credit card after multiple attempts there is a $20 re-instatement fee.
What happens when my trial ends?
If you haven’t converted to a commercial edition when your trial ends, your account will be disabled.
What if I want to cancel my account?
We would hate to see you leave, but if you need to cancel simply notify us
that you are canceling your account. We require a 30-day notice period and will retain your data for an additional 90-days. If you need help getting your contacts or other data out of our system, we’d be happy to help too.
I’m not technical, can I still use DailyStory?
We’ve made DailyStory as approachable as possible. But, if you need help, we’d be happy to help you set up the service or configure it.
Can you do everything for me?
Yes, many of our customers hire us in a “turn-key” role. We help design, plan, and execute the customer engagement strategy for your business and operate the day-to-day activities.
